Yuqing Lou

This building stands beside the creek in the northeast of Chuxi Village. Built in 1729, the 7th year of the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, the circular Tulou faces the north, covering an area of 1256 square meters. 41.6 meters in diameter and 3 storeys in height, the main building of inner ring corridor design has 34 bays and is equipped with four staircases. Located in the center of the inner courtyard, the ancestral hall is of square single-storey woodand- brick structure .
